Partnering WithNonprofits &
Community Organizations
Kristen works with nonprofits, community-based organizations, and scholarship programs supporting first-generation and underserved students through the college admissions process - bringing the same admissions insight she offers individual families and schools directly to the students who often have the least access to it.
Fees are means-tested based on your organization's size and funding, and documentation may be requested to confirm eligibility. The figures below reflect typical engagements - reach out and a proposal will be put together specific to your students and your budget.

Primarily high school students (typically grades 9–12) preparing for university admissions, including first-generation, low-income, and historically underrepresented students. If your organization serves a different population, reach out and we can talk through fit.
-
Pricing is adjusted based on your organization's size, funding, and the population you serve. Smaller, community-based organizations and those serving higher-need populations typically receive a larger adjustment than larger or better-funded organizations. Documentation - such as your organization's budget, funding sources, or nonprofit status - may be requested to confirm eligibility.
-
This varies by organization, but may include proof of 501(c)(3) or equivalent nonprofit status, an annual budget or funding summary, or a brief description of the population you serve. I'll let you know exactly what's needed once we've discussed your organization.

Yes. This is a paid, means-tested service for organizations, separate from the limited pro bono work Kristen takes on directly with individual students. If cost is a significant barrier for your organization, mention it when you reach out and options can be discussed.
-
Sessions are virtual by default. In-person sessions may be possible depending on location and timing. Please let Kristen know if that's a priority and it can be discussed during the consultation. Travel expenses apply on top of the session fee and are booked and paid for by the organization. Note that means-tested pricing applies to the session fee only, not to travel costs.
-
Yes. Many organizations start with a group presentation or workshop and then identify a smaller number of students for individual follow-up. This can be scoped together from the start or added later.
-
As early as possible, especially around the fall application season (September–December) and spring planning season (February–April), when demand is highest. Two weeks' notice is the minimum for scheduling; more lead time allows for better preparation, especially for workshops involving essay work.
-
Common topics include: building a balanced school list, understanding financial aid and need-based scholarships, writing a strong college essay, interview preparation, and navigating the application process as a first-generation applicant. Sessions can be customized to your students' specific needs.
