Finding housing in the Netherlands should be considered an olympic sport, especially in larger cities. However, there are some regions where all students are housed easily, and a few universities have guaranteed housing for all students.
English-Taught Programs
The Netherlands ranks second in Europe for the most English-taught programs, just behind the UK. English is widely spoken across the country. I have traveled to the Netherlands twice, and have never encountered a Dutch person, inside or outside of the country, who did not speak English, even in small towns. The Dutch speak English well and with an accent that is close to a native English speaker.
